Molly Ivins

This post will be all over the place. Both Mr. Froth and I were saddened by her demise. He’s not that familiar with her writings, I’ve read more than he has. And it’s not because she died of breast cancer. An aside, I read a blog post of hers or something written when she was [...]

The task at hand

So, I actually started a story. One that doesn’t involve my own personal autobiography. Of course, it involves stuff that I see and do and observe, but the characters are finally separate. I have some ideas for them. I have a plan of action for them, which involves me writing a draft outline and such. [...]

Staring

Staring is a good thing. It’s like feng shui for your brain. You go somewhere and look up and stare and drink a glass of wine or smoke a cigarette while the trees blow air through your ears. Through your brain and out your nostrils. Unless they’re too stuffed up or something, in which case [...]

My project

Blows. Just blows. Do not ever buy cheap $3.99 fabric transfer stuff that would require you to sew something onto a t-shirt. The watercolors don’t scan with the appropriate brightness, the lettering is a mishmash of crap and all around it sucks.

I’m [...]

Discussions of An Evening

So Grandpa Froth, Mr. Froth and I were watching the news. The subject of the particular segment we were viewing was firearms in the cockpit, etc.
The senior Froth came up with a  most excellent idear. Instead of big hulking federal marshalls packing heat (boy did that sound like I know what I’M talking about) they should [...]

Meeting This Evening

No. Really? No. Really? Really. No.

Jacked Template Quickie

Ms. LL let me know that my template was haywire yesterday. I had no idear since as how I’ve not had access to a downstairs computer since Mr. Froth took off for Chicago. Where he’s entertaining clients. At places like Gibson’s. Eating steak and lobster, smoking cigars and drinking martinis. Happy Phase 1 to you, [...]
