Jet Setting Part One

We move in priiitty lofty circles. When we travel we stay at the finest hotels. Like the exquisitely appointed Guest Inn in Norman, Oklahoma. Who offer, not only beds and tv, but hairdryers, attainable at the front desk. But bring them back or your first born will be ripped from your womb before you can [...]

Road Trip and Yippees

I just got home from a board meeting. Shutupshutupshutupshutupshutup. I’m even beyond shut the f* up. Just, please, shut up.
 Now that that’s done with.
We’re going up to Norman tomorrow to see the guys and Mr. Froth is participating in a reinstatement of his old fraternity. Which had been kicked off of campus awhile back for [...]

Back in the day, more than a decade ago, when I took my first watercolor courses a routine exercise was to paint what you saw or felt from observing one simple object that the teacher provided. A bowl. A piece of fruit. The ubiquitous piece of cloth, folded just so. That would tick me off [...]

This is surely an aging [...]

And how is our real life different from our dreams?
Danged if I know. Possums in the pottie. Eh.
I’ve written down some recent dreams shortly after they were dreamt. Both mine and Mr. Froth’s. It frightens one.
Hey Sharon! You know who you are. You were in my dream the other day. A bunch of us were [...]

I don’t think John Mayer had this in mind.
Our cat, the Lucky cat, who is now 16 years old and exhibiting creaky cat tendencies, like, perhaps making accidents here and there and howling excessively, is, well, old. So you have to give him a pass on some things. He’s the sweetest cat in the world. If [...]
